Wonderful small hotel just down the hill from the Alhambra, with beautiful gardens and spectacular views of the city and Sierra Nevada. Alejandro was so helpful with directions to the hotel, assistance with parking and luggage, tips for visiting the Alhambra and restaurant recommendations. Would definitely stay here again. Loved it!

tolles, sympathisches, familiengeführtes Guesthouse in der Nähe der Alhambra. In die Innenstadt mit vielen kleinen Restaurants ist etwa 10 - 15 Gehminuten entfernt. Eigentümer gibt verschiedene gute Tipps zu Restaurant, Aktivitäten und mehr. Zufahrt ist etwas 'tricky' - mit Unterstützung des Gastgebers - im Vorfeld wurde eine detaillierte Anleitung mitgeteilt und das letzte Stück übernahm Lorenzo... Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können es empfehlen, wenn man eine persönliche Note in einem kleinen Haus schätzt und geniesst.

Un séjour dans un si beau « Carmen » à Grenade est une super chance! Celui-ci est spécialement beau et bien situé. Nos hôtes ont été incroyablement serviables et chaleureux, aux petits soins, souriants, précis. La vue sur la ville et sur la Sierra Nevada est superbe!! On a accès à tout en moins de 15 minutes. L'entrée à l’Alhambra est à 12 minutes. Le prix à payer pour cette vue est qu’il faut grimper! Mais si on n’aime pas grimper, il ne faut pas venir à Grenade, et ça serait bien dommage. Un grand merci à Alejandro, Lolita et Vincenzo pour leur accueil!

great hotel in Granada, it has a perfect location next to the Alhambra Palace on the main hill looking down over the city center. The manager owner is super kind.

This is more of a family run bed and breakfast rather then a typical hotel. The owner was very helpful with directions and suggestions. His teenage son doubled as the "bellhop" and brought all our bags up stairs. You are given a real key to your room, front door and garden gate upon arrival. They make a very simple yet filling breakfast for everyone. There is an honor bar you write your room number on and what you took to be billed upon check out. It was very easy to get around (as long as you like hills and stairs, lol). The hotel is located at the top of a hill so you have an amazing view of the city. You are a 5/10 minute walk to Alhambra (up hill) and 5/10 minute walk to city center (downhill).

Lorenzo and his team were all terrific. From the email confirming our booking with careful instructions on how to find it, collecting us from the parking spot, settling us in, marking out the map, great breakfast etc. the “hotel” has 7 rooms I think and beautiful shared spaces and balconies with gorgeous views. As Lorenzo said, he prefers to call it a guest house. It’s situated near the Alhambra Palace hotel so up the hill and therefore near Alhambra itself and the centre of old town. So a good location and makes the walk uphill home not too bad. Just terrific.

This property / house is quite amazing and a real special place in Granada. Not only does it sit on top of the hill to offer incredible views of the city, but it is close to many important sites (Alhambra) to see while visiting there. The owner (Alejandro) is very kind, informative and fun to talk to about all things. One of his key staff person (Lorenzo) is equally kind and conversational. Lorenzo makes a very nice breakfast daily that gets you going to start the day. Conchi is also another important host in the property as she provides quality care for your room. The property is very homey, quaint and with peacefully beautiful gardens that feel nothing like a typical hotel. It is quiet and a great place to stay while in Granada. But, you must be ready to wear your best walking shoes because Granada has many stairs, steps, ramps and elevation changes throughout the city. However, that is part of the beauty of the city but it requires some energy to get around the areas.

Lovely hotel/guesthouse. Beautiful property with gardens and views of mountains, close to Alhambra and city center. Room was comfortable and spacious with walk out patio. Host was incredibly kind and helpful. Only con: breakfast was quite simple.

A fabulous place and perfect location. Alejandro and team are so helpful and create a home from home. I loved my room overlooking the courtyard. Stunning views from the patio and gardens.
